Guest sodium1 Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I have finally got myself a class 10 Micro SD card, and so far i have only had the dreaded message " damaged SD card " once, which did not appear afer a reboot ( dunno whats going on there then ) I would love to know how to make a back up of my entire vega, so if it goes tits up again i can flash it with my backed up image and i have not lost any of my settings etc. Thanks
Guest MaxiP Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Simples - ClockWorkMod. Will take a complete image of your system / data and store on SD so you can easily recover if you need to. Or if you want to back up / restore / move apps & data, Titanium backup.

Thanks, the problem i seem to have is with the SD cards itself, i am now on my 3rd one ( yeah i know, WTF 3rd one !?! ) If it cannot be seen by the vega because it says it needs reformatting because its damaged etc, how will it boot into recovery and then reflash from the SD card ? Would it be a good idea to copy the SD card contents over to my PC ( including the recovery image etc ) and then copy it back when needed ?

Guest mingoid Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Vega One Click Backup As it says on the page you'll probably need to backup the SD card too.

Guest daveleebond Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Yes, although i am not aware that they are dodgy... If you read all the comments on hukd, they have hit and miss transfer rates, not branded, and some fail within a short ammount of time' thats why i went for a 30 quid class 6 transcend.
Guest GrandPaClanger Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I went for the paid version of Titanium backup. There is an option to sync the backup with Dropbox, So i have a copy off site if anything happens to the card Ian
Guest houdini2005 Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Vega One Click Backup As it says on the page you'll probably need to backup the SD card too. i use oneclick all the time as i play with different roms (vegacpmb etc) it stores on your pc, restores back to your original in about 3 mins. :D
