Guest Djp42 Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 For all UK Streakers. I've just come back from Wilkinsons and they are now selling Brasso Gadget Care at £5.10. You get a 50ml bottle of cleaning gel and a decent size Micro-Fibre cloth. I've just used it on my Streak and, Wow. It really does clean the screen well. For any doubters out there, check out the review by Endgadget. :D http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/08/brasso-...-polish-review/

Guest 9a6or Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 This consumer economy will do just fine as long as people are prepared to pay for such things... a clean tissue, and a drop of water should have the same effect but for good measure add a drop of washing up liquid.

Guest HorusUK Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 Unscented baby wipes and a microfibre cloth work perfectly fine, and are really all you need. I can source both these items from my local pound shop.
Guest 9a6or Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 washing up liquid has salt in it, never a good idea on something you want to see through Window tint comes with a fluid for installation which contains washing up liquid. I've fitted my screen protector after moistening the screen with water containing a drop of washing up liquid and the fit is amazing, like the factory fitted one on my OQO2. It's best to avoid anything else than distilled water (camera lenses, telescopes) but a drop of mild detergent will not cause trouble on a Streak. My real point was that spending money on magic cleaning fluids is a waste of money. These will probably contain some cheap detergent anyway.
