Corvus5 and Vpns

Hey

Having problems with any type of vpn on the corvus 5 rom

Tried pptp this did not work, tried on my htc phone and worked fine

Tried ipsec, this did not work. same as above

Tried openvpn, got the tun from modules, installed openvpn installer and installed openvpn setting

Linked route and ifconfig to xbin/bb

get linux ifconfig failed

Searched through so many forums and posts to find a solution, but no solution that works

Anyone have any good ideas?
