Hi All

Had the Vega for week now and the overall impression is good so far. I have the corvus5 ROM installled which is a vast improvement. Keeping my eye on Vegachrome just waitiing for flash to work.

Question : what happppens to any paid apps that are insttalled if I go to Vegachrome. I have them all backedd up using Titanium back up. Is it just a case of copying them back to the card. I assume that I would need to re download Titanium to use that to do a restore. Hope that makes sense.

Any paid apps in the market will remain yours forever - you do not have to back up paid apps.

When you do eventually switch to vegacomb, when you go to the market there is a section for apps that you have already purchased for you to redownload them.

Though there are advantages to backing up apps though, as if its a game then it can save the game data aswell so you dont loose your place.

Even though that usually is right, I would suggest to back up your apps anyway. It is not guaranteed the apps you bought will be available in the market at the time you want to re-install them. For example, this weekend, google pulled a couple of emulators (snesoid, ataroid, etc.) from the market - you won't be able to restore them from the market.
