Guest schollie476 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) Hi, I've recently bought the Acer Liquid E from iBood. Since the beginning I have a very strange problem. It looks like somebody has remote control on the device. Screens opens by itself, it gives automatically input in search field without touching the keyboard. The information window scrolls down by itself. Sometimes it happens and sometimes I can use it without having the issue. Last days it happens more and more. I've already switched back to factory defaults, wiped the device and did a hard reset. Without success. I've found similar issues on the Internet. looks like I'm not the only one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k8FAGdqd4k http://www.paladigaris.biz/mobile-phone-re...in-the-machine/ http://www.youtube.com/user/tchoi80 I've also made a little movie from my device when problem occurs: Sent out a mail requesting for support from iBood. No answer yet. Somebody who was able to solve this issue? Can it be a hardware issue? Thanx in advance and greetings, Stijn Edited May 30, 2011 by schollie476

Thanx in advance and greetings, Stijn it's a wet screen problem mate.. take off the battery and place the phone on a heater at a not very high temp.. i used the black socks which came with the phone and places the phone onto the black socks with the screen down.. and placed the black sock on a heater at home.. took me 3 days but at the end it solved the issue.. i looked in the videos and one says that on 2.1 this didn't happen to him which is quite strange since that must be another issue than what i had..
Guest tosseg Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Looks like random touches problem. I got this with my badly attached screencover (got some bubbles) only after flashin some custom roms, coz they use nexus screen setting. I set noise and sensetivity to 75 in Liquid Settings - and random touches dissappeared. Don't know if this information can help you.
Guest schollie476 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Hi, Thx for the replies!! Tried everything. I've already removed the screen protector, same issue.
