CN SKU - How to downgrade from .13 to .9

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and was hoping for a bit of help

I bought a Transformer in China last week while on a trip there, and I let it run the update so that I now have HR166.CN_epad-8.2.3.13-20110511

I discovered that Google apps (mail, maps, etc) as well as Android Market are not pre-installed on the CN version so I decided to root the machine and install the MoDaCo Rom

But now I see on all forums that the .13 build cannot be rooted for now and that the only current way is to downgrade to the .9 build. I would like to do so but I cannot find the .9 firmware for CN SKU on the Asus support homepage...

- Am I looking at the wrong place ( I tried from both Europe/China/US Asus websites)

- Does anyone have this firmware in stock and could provide it to me otherwise?

If not I guess I'll have to wait till someone make a root procedure for the 8.2.3.13...

Hello,

Are you sure there is a CN version? I've only seen US, WW and TW version

It worked!!

Downloaded the file, downgraded successfully and managed to root!!!

Now off to next step, install the Rom!!

How did you do this, I downloaded the file but don't manage to downgrade. Did you leave the file on your sd card or do you have to put it somewhere in the root?

Help me out here, i'm sick of this CN firmware.
