Hey, i knowq how to use no frill cpu that came with my swedish spring rsl5 (im not buying set cpu, sorry). But i dont get how to set goveners. It says stuff like performance, or powersaving but the cpu speeds are all exactly the same.

I dont get hwo to use this. I know how to increase speed by just selecting the max and pushing it all the way to 650 or 700 but im just wondering how to set governers with (ifs) for example if battery is lower than 50% go down to 480 mhz or something...

Also how do i set goveners so that if i select a specific one, say powersaving, then press apply it will go to 480mhz without me having to do it myself by thinking.

Try SetCPU from the Market. It has the ability for profiles.

From No Frills Dev on XDA

Q: Do you plan on adding profiles? I'd love to select a different profile for when my screen is off!

A: Short answer is "No". I think that profiles are useless, because that's what governors are already: a profile for your CPU to follow while changing frequencies.

Adding profiles would mean adding the need for more memory, the need to run more often, check if something is happening (screen on, screen off and so on)... all of this without a real benefit.

Ive set my governor to 'smartass' gives good performance and conserves battery life.
