Guest Metroid_Maniac Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 I currently have CyanogenMod 7 RC4 on my Gen1 Orange San Francisco. I have tried to update to CyanogenMod 7.0.3, but after I install it I always end up in a never ending loop of the green android logo, then a black screen, green android, etc. I have tried wiping the data/cache partitions, tried using Rom Manager and installing it manually through Clockworkmod. Help, please?
Guest Grain Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 I currently have CyanogenMod 7 RC4 on my Gen1 Orange San Francisco. Recent Cyanogen is for Gen2 only. Upgrade the phone to Gen2 or run Kallt_Kaffe's converter after flashing Cyanogen. See the wiki or read the forum for details.
Guest Metroid_Maniac Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 You mean "Wipe data/factory reset" in ClockworkMod? Because I already did that. BTW, I am using ClockWorkMod v3.0.1.4, none of the newer versions seem to work for me, at least from Rom Manager

Guest Amphoras Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Link, please? Sorry for being n00by. EDIT: I tried 7.0.2 as well, is that Gen2 only? Yes it is. It changed to Gen 2 only shortly after 7.0.0 I think, 7.0.1 at the very latest. You can convert to Gen 2 by following this guide: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...n2-tpt-upgrade/
Guest Metroid_Maniac Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Meh... Looks a bit... serious, a "Total Phone Transfer". Maybe I'll upgrade Cyanogen later.
Guest Metroid_Maniac Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 OK, I just used the CM 7.0.3 TPT and it boots up fine now. Thanks for all the help!
