Guest Chris Banks Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 I know this question seems to pop up quite a bit but i have never really seen a proper answer. How would one go about porting, or by other means, the notification power control like in FLB or CM7, to another ROM, such as SS. Thanks
Guest Lister Of Smeg Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Hi Chris, I too have asked this, and would like to know how to go about this...?? Thanks, Lister
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 The widget? There is an app you can buy Power Control Extended.
Guest Metroid_Maniac Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 The widget? There is an app you can buy Power Control Extended. No, the notification bar "widget". If you pull down the Notification bar in CyanogenMod it gives you a customizable list of power thingys.
Guest laserburn Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Maybe Quick Settings app will give you what you want.
Guest slitz Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) I believe they want something that does the same thing as this, but in a rom that's NOT CM7.: Edited June 1, 2011 by slitz
Guest chealsearock Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-final-version/ Her you go!
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 I wish I could remember I'm sure that there is an app that adds this, i think you need too search the XDA forum im like 99% sure that is where I found it
Guest Chris Banks Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) I have tried apps like 'quick settings' and 'power control (plus)' but all these seem to do is place a shortcut to open a pop up rather than real toggle switches like in CM7 or FLB. Thanks for the link chealsearock, but it only seems its for FLB. I was hoping i would be able to find one for SS, but there was possible hints of a guide on how to build it into another rom, so i will keep my eyes peeled! Edited June 1, 2011 by Chris Banks

It looks like it works on SS though - read the comments!
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 I'd recommend ricordopvz's portugese spring theme, its got a good look and a notification bar power widget, shame its not on 2.3 yet though, missing it ALOT!
Guest hugobosslives Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 It looks like it works on SS though - read the comments! i presume this doesn't work on the gingerbread leak?
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 i presume this doesn't work on the gingerbread leak? I think pretty much everyone on GSF is awaiting a notification power contorl widget :/
