zte blade swedish spring problem

hi guys i just installed swedish spring on zte blade rsl5 i upgrade from cm7 but when im on swedish spring some things are still the same aka keyboard and wifi aint workin even when i have a blade wifi fix please help thx.

Hey its me :D you know who im talking about :D finally you found the new topic button huh? Which guide did you use to install swedish spring rsl5? If you found it on some rouge site, then i reccomend reinstalling using this.

make sure you follow this guide step by step, read it through, make sure you have the correct gen, make sure you follow it exactly. But before you do that, if anyone has any objections to what i have told emerald123 to do, speak now just incase doing this will cause more harm.

BTW follow this guide like you did before, but dont actually do it at first, see if there are any steps that you missed out.

what not working about the wifi?

if it disconnects when you unlock it, or when the screen turns off, then this is normal for the blade

no it wont connect to my home router: seimens gigaset se587 wlan dsl. wpa2 secured tiscali btw

Same problem overhere, the phone dont even connect with the router. Anyway to fix it?

What signal strength is shown on the phone - one dot, dot and bar etc and how close to the router are you?

very close but it still wont connect it says connnecting but then it says disconnected

You may find that its a password issue, maybe the blade was set using the wrong choice of encryption (wpa2 or wap for example)

I'm embarrassed to say that after struggling myself for an hour or three, I realised the mistake.

I couldn't find how to change the wrong choice so re flashed and set it up again :D

i'l try thx for advice but even when i do it always says connecting then disconnected and when im using static ip it still doesnt work. i might try and install stackbladroid v0.2 apparently it has wifi fixes

ROMed with SS5 and cannot connect to BT WiFi via normal BTHomeHubxxx (scanning/aquiring IP address/disconnect/scanning...) but it will connect via BTFON WiFi without any issue. The only problem is the fact that a login is then required every time to access internet.

I believe it is all to do with the fact it cannot cope with DHCP.

Going to have to decide wether to go with converting to Gen2 & CM7.
