Guest Bromoon Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Hi All I have a question regarding headsets on the Blade. I bought a Skullcandy headset, when I plug it in the headset symbol appears but the sound only comes out of the left hand channel and is distorted. If you press and hold the answer button the sound is great. Does anyone know if this is common and what the answer is?. Many Thanks

Many Thanks It is because you bought a headset for iphone, which is not compatible with Blade. It is a well known issue.
Guest Bromoon Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Thanks. Although the headset did not say it was specifically for an iphone although I am aware of issues with other phones. Next Question!!!!!!! Can anyone recommend an earbud headset with mic other than the supplied one (not an earbud). which would give me reasonable sound quality and is compatible, as most of the ones on the market seem to be iphone compatible. Cheers

Cheers Earbud quality is a very subjective thing. I do not think there is any absolutely good earbud headset. If you really want good quality sound, you need a good set of headphones (just headphones) and plug into a mic/audio adapter. You may not find a dedicated San Fran/Blade adapter, but Nokia ones will do.
