Guest hohogaga Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 i have some problem with audio when there is some sound there is a noise with it (electrical noise?) for example when i am playing a game with voice on i can hear the noise though it is not very loud The most obvious is when the number dialing, there is a beep, after the beep there is a silence, i can hear the noise while the silence very clearly. it is more clear if i turn to the back of my Liquid E to listen to the audio directly does anyone have the same problem? is it normal? or just me have a broken phone? thanks for helping
Guest zorginho Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 it is caused by a volume hack that is included in some roms.
Guest hohogaga Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 it is caused by a volume hack that is included in some roms. i have tested it in many roms including the original ones "1.100.63.AAP.FET_A21E_bin.zip" and "4.008.08.EMEA.VFIT (For Liquid E 512MB) " do they also have a volume hack in original BIN? thanks a lot

Guest Thmz159 Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 I don't think it's a problem with the liquid. I have it too, when I use my in-ear headphones. But now I'm using CM7 from f1rst, and it seems more loud than when I was using official Froyo :/

Guest Morris Lee Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Yeah, i have the same issue too, it is actually louder on the custom roms, I think with the custom kernals more specifically, I think is driver level issue. Then again, acer liquid is not the best media device, it may not have much noise reduction wirings etc. My PMP cowon S9 plays the same music at way better quality and almost 0 noise when I crank it up in my car stereo, however, liquid always have that background noise. If you are charging it and playing back something, the device that is charging it will cause extra noise too depending on if it is grounded or if it is a computer, does it have a good power supply etc. Even my cowon will get noise if I start charging it with my crappy car to USB adapter. I hope that will clear up a few things for some people :D
