Guest Andy From Ireland Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I am noticing that my clock on my new Advent vega is loosing time do you reckon its a software bug? - it cant be anything to do with rooting can it, cause have rooted my vega, I have download a program to prevent screen from locking it cant be that can it? - the firmware on the device is 1.9.0 android version 2.2 I notice as well that when I come out of blank standby screen that it takes a bit of a while for wi-fi to kick in so it must put wi-fi into sleep when the screen goes off I am predicting. Whilst on the subject is there any way the vega can be configured to auto update the time for a server on the internet to keep the time update? many thanks for suggestions.

Hi, I use an app from market called 'clocksync' to sync with a time server, as I too have noticed a loss of time. Clocksync can be set to sync at boot too.
