Guest WillDroid Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Hi guys, just wondering if my Vega genuinely has a problem or not, but I have found that my Vega often has a problem waking up. I'm not sure if it is a matter of the button not fully working, or it might be a problem within VegaComb. The problem I have is that whenever I have locked my tablet and left it for a while (maybe more than 5 mins) then when I come to wake it up again it either does nothing when I press the button, or the screen flashes on then off and then won't come back on unless I hold down the button to power it off and start again. Any help would be appreciated :D Will EDIT - Sorry, forgot to mention, I'm on VegaComb 1.5.2, and I did the full update, not the patch, and I have a relatively new tablet that I got on the 20th May Edited June 2, 2011 by WillDroid

Guest WillDroid Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Ah, Ok, I guess I'll have to live with it as I really love VegaComb. Thank you!
Guest gazmon2424 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 too many things not working in vegacomb mate, wait for the creases to be ironed out and stick with corvus5
Guest CrArC Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I don't think it's the button itself chaps, it's the way you press it. I have the same problem too, but I find pressing the button for an instant (really a very small difference) longer than I normally would (a 'press', not a 'click') makes all the difference and it registers pretty much every time.
Guest Niks10 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I think it is more of Hardware problem. Have experienced it on Corvus ROM too. Fiddly hardware button same as on my blade.
Guest WillDroid Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I dont think that the amount of time you hold the button makes a difference because I have tried long presses and short ones and I have been surprised to find that as previously said, if you press the side of the button towards the lock switch, it works more or less every time :-)
