Guest deksman2 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Is this based on CM7? or an original If you click on the first link the first post, it would appear the website states 'ROM compiled directly from source code 2.3.4 and the latest kernel available from ZTE.' So I do not think CM7 was uaed as a base. This 'appears' to be a separate project.
Guest Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Really interesting. Seems to be off AOSP? Link for San Francisco gen2 : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6CCVEJF2 do we need stock partitions to install this ? I stuck on android dude

Guest Marco90 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Most cm5 are compatible and here are same themes! http://translate.google.pt/translate?u=htt...l=&ie=UTF-8 Edited June 2, 2011 by Marco90
Guest lordjubblydave Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I could not get it to install, it just hangs on the Android. Although I did not follow the instructions. I will try again tomorrow :D
Guest unrandomsam Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Its got a warezed launcher. (ADW Launcher EX) Its got far more similarity to n85 than I would expect a clean AOSP build to have. Could be a mashup of an AOSP build and CM7
Guest unrandomsam Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Or is it a release by the people with access to ZTE's sources ? ie the network people responsible for : New official Blade FroYo update (Sapo A5), HSUPA advertised - 5.76mbps Don't imagine so because of the warezed launcher
Guest Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Anyone installed this. If so any comparsions with CM7? had to remove some apps so it fit partition. it is built from source and it feels fast and no problems so far

Could be a mashup of an AOSP build and CM7 It is based on CM7, at least the comments of user 'asm' in the blog hint at that. Strange that they don't state that clearly.
Guest Pelemane Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 It is based on CM7, at least the comments of user 'asm' in the blog hint at that. Strange that they don't state that clearly. Yeah it has the same proximity bug that is in CM7. (that automatic brightness messes proximity thing)
Guest stephen m Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 had to remove some apps so it fit partition. it is built from source and it feels fast and no problems so far How did you install this. Via CWM and install from SD?
Guest Marco90 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 It is based on CM7, at least the comments of user 'asm' in the blog hint at that. Strange that they don't state that clearly. is not based... the user ask about why the dev dont copy same codes from cm7 This team own project
Guest Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Yeah it has the same proximity bug that is in CM7. (that automatic brightness messes proximity thing) it also has screen off animation which I think is not a stock gingerbread feature,so it would seem this is built with some cm7
