Camera glitch in 720p mode

I find that when I record video in 720p mode it glitches every 4-5 secs and goes all blocky. At first I thought it was the device struggling to play it back but it happens no matter what video program I use to watch and even when the vid is uploaded to youtube.

Does anyone else suffer from this or is it a problem with my phone? It's always done it since I got the phone so it can't be related to streakdroid changing settings.

I've noticed this, its like it drops frames, bad deal... I can vouch that it happens, but I'm tired and done feel like reproducing it, and I don't recall what OS/BB version I was running at the time. *actually its evident here:

at ~:15, and :22, but doesn't seem to happen after that. Maybe try the performance governer, see if it still happens, then maybe try another scaling governer (interactive or smartass), and up the minimum till it isn't a problem (if it's simply dropping a few frames this might work).
