Guest xcd3199 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Hi guys need some serious help on this matter plz. I had recently installed a stock rom of Dell XCD 35 Gen 2 Android 2.2 from this link it was installed successfully and I was using it for 3 to 4 days now but it kept on showing the low phone memory warning so I decided to give the partitioning the sd card a try I searched on the net and even watched few videos but the most easiest and safest way that I could find was using the Rom Manager. But to use the rom manager's Partition the SD Card feature it asked to flash the recovery os I said install then it took me on an option screen where it asked me the size of the partition I selected 256MB then for the swap size I selected 32MB. Then the phone restarted I went in the settings tab to see if had been partitioned but nothing seemed to have happened so I thought of partitioning the SD card from the Recovery Menu but when I restarted the phone I reached the FTM Recovery Menu So I decided to restart the Phone and again install the Cyanogen Mod but instead it just stuck on the Dell logo I then tried to enter the recovery menu again but now it doesn't even enters the recovery menu.. But if I remove my battery and just connect it through a usb cable to a pc it starts and gets detected by windows but nothing else.... I have Android SDK installed on my PC (in case if that helps)...

Guest ufizo Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 (edited) Try TPT (if it is allowed for your phone), Else try to flash clockwork recovery using fastboot. Edited July 2, 2011 by ufizo
