Probably 8GB MicroSD card (rather than the 4GB that Advent install).

Market penetration maybe small………….. Funny, but not important. (unless you risk buying one :D ).

Looks like VegaComb and has the same problem with ebooks i.e pages cut of at the edges. Youtube video doesn't show flash working but does show 3G a feature not in the ebay pad from OP

p.s. also if you're gonna watch the youtube video don't watch anything past 5 mins unless you want to see the horrendous ordeal being forced upon the possible son of the Vega

Just pointing out that if the op's ebay listing and the youtube vid. are of the same tab - which they seen to be as they are both being called HoneyPad (this could be coincidental I suppose) that they come with and without 3G.

Your ebay listing is named VenusPad but is most likely the same device

LennyUK said that a dodgy tablet maker just took VegaComb as is, without asking or anything, and shoved it into devices to sell them. I think that's lowly of them, and one can be pretty sure that these tablets are the ones Lenny mentioned. I hope I am wrong, but buying these tablets would be supporting lowly behaviors.

I bet they will be loads of returns when people buy them and discover the flash doesn't work and send them back.

What a bunch of numpties.

Just noticed, there is some guys selling "brand new" vegas on ebay with vegacomb installed, around the £250-£270.... nice to see the chancers sink their teeth into a easy buck.

Meh, I remember selling an original iPhone (you remember back when you just bought them, and didn't have to sign a contract there and then) - brand new, unlocked. Took me all of 20 minutes to sort out with freely available free software. Easy £100 profit...

Basically some people will happiily pay for stuff as they can't do it, or can't be arsed doing it

IPS screen is interesting though...

I wonder if their returns policy will be similar to DSG :D, and how they will react to being "Hit over the head" as some people advocate as a returns strategy to be used with DSG :D

If they are on Ebay as a business they should obey DSR. Of course, if they are from anywhere out of the Eurozone/ scammers, they will probably stick 2 fingers up anyway! Most buyers, (bless them), will not realise this tablet is hookey until they've recieved it and the seller has closed down their ebay account and moved on!

It's not good. Buyer beware always. If anyone does buy one of these items and the hardware is OK hope they find Modaco or one of the other forums where if needed they can get some help.

Its main reason I posted that s***y thing up as warning, I shamefully got burned buying a hong kong fuey special off ebay, and was told by ebay tough luck as it went to t*ts on me within two weeks of recieving it, worked when I got it, so I'd have to pay to have it repaired, wasn't worth it so I stuck it back on ebay as spares or repair only to have ebay pull my listing saying it was counterfit fake goods, I reworded my listing and flogged it anyway, so don't trust international sellers or ebay.... stay calm fred, think zen and have a green tea...
