Guest bojjob Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Hi Is there a way to make sound output more "bassy" through the headphone socket. I am using modplayer For me its the treble, although i am using some stupidly expensive AKGs with a boost system :D But overall the music playback is pretty weak... sometimes distorts songs at higher levels too :/
Guest trevor432990 Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 The Vega is definitely no hi-fi experience but when I need a bit more clarity I attach one of these X-Mini capsule speakers and it sounds a lot better but still not perfect.
Guest Blaven Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Well, 2 options: 1. Buy new earphones/headphones (I'm going to buy the Skullcrusher btw, since Beats Studio is kinda an overkill.) 2. Install an equalizer (if that is possible on the Vega that is.) About the second option: I know the Arc has "DSP manager" wich by dragging the first 2 frequency bars upwards increases bass (on all equalizers btw), and I'm using that one on my X10i. Maybe try requesting a dev to port it to the Vega? :D
Guest WillDroid Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Which ROM are you on? I recently purchased some Monster Turbine in-ear speakers (speakers? :D) only to find that the sound output on VegaComb is terrible. If I restore an old Corvus5 or Cyanogen backup the audio output is far better.

Skullcrushers are pretty good, had a pair of the over head ones... sound quality is good for the price, but id reccomend buying either some AKGs or Sennheisers, the little bit extra is defo worth it on the sound quality
