Guest Teasy Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) Are there any gamepads out there that work well with this phone? Had a quick look around and can't find many options. Edited June 4, 2011 by Teasy
Guest Rob_1973 Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 I heard that the Datel Wireless Retro Controller works and I've just ordered one from codejunkies for £29.

A new model is being developed at the moment, as many users have requested an analog version of the controller. So a new board layout is in the making and by the end of June I should hopefully have a whole lot of new analog controllers ready for shipping.

The have a picture of it somewhere, and its basicly a PS2 controller that uses bluetooth to connect to your phone. I think its probably worth waiting for if you dont need it right now.

The Datel one does not work with the SGSII I'm afraid (I have one). None of the Wiimote ones work, as they require the stock Android bluetooth stack, and the SGSII has Samsungs own one onboard. If cyanogenmod ROM comes for SGSII it will be possible to use them. My Phonejoy and Zeemote both work fine though. The iControlPad will also work. Edited June 5, 2011 by NZtechfreak

Cheers, the zeemote is ok but only one stick which I find to be over sensitive with only 4 buttons so is useless with a SNES or N64 emulator. The phonejoy may be the one to get then. The iControlpad is really expensive. Wish they'd do it without a big battery.

Agreed on the iControlPad, very overpriced (I guess their main target audience are iPhone users, who seem to have no problem paying a premium for accessories).
