Can't mount SDCARD

Recently was playing around with CM7.1 Nightly ROM and decided I would try another CM7 ROM. Went to flash one and it wouldn't work, asked me to unmount all FS and try again even when in NO SIGN CHECK. Tried a few more ROMs and still nothing. It got to a point where it would not even see the files on the SD card, it would say exactly as follows:

E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)

(no such file or directory)

E:Can't mount SDCARD:

Is this an actual physical problem with my SD/PHONE? or is it a system error? I also got Acer Download Tool to work when in malez recovery and flashed the 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1_A22F_A.bin file. Thought it would have worked but still nothing :D WHAT CAN I DO!!?!?

As far as I know it was the SD card, I have tried a few others without getting any problems but I could not flash any ROMs with them because they were not mine.

I am buying a new SONY sd card from a friend who recently broke his ericson. Not sure what the class is but it cant be that bad. I will also try to reformat the olf micro SD when I get a "Micro SD to SD" adapter which will plug into my CP.

AND A LITTLE MORE SUPPORT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL!! :D even if you weren't sure!
