Guest deimos85 Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 tried the ota update: downloaded from market and then and opened liquid next parts but under ifo says version 1.5 :) I tried too and finally made it after a couple of downloads...when you open the app it should say: "the system need a reboot because it's been updated" then, after the reboot, if you open Liquid Next Parts you'll see the message of the OTA update. Guest bais Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 For OTA, download latest release, open it, then reboot and open it again, it will say that OTA is available. But be aware that OTA will download the update, put it on SD card and reboot into recovery. It'll give you a few choices, there will be 3 names for the update and it will ask you if you want to reboot into recovery when the download is finished. If you want the update to be completely automatic, choose: -The name "update". -And tell it to reboot into recovery after the download finishes. It may sound complicated but it's not, just try it. Guest fantong Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 Hi I think I found a big problem, after I flash 1.2 with wipe all, wipe cache, wipe davilk, after some idle time, the phone can Not be open. The back-light is OK, but nothing showed in the screen, and any key is not responded, the only way is that pull out the battery. I will try to flash again to check whether I'm not lucky. Guest Chewy11 Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 HI I was on 1.1.1 and flashed 1.2 then rebooted updated the liquidnext app, rebooted and on launching liquidnext the OTA came up. saved as 1.2.1 (to keep track of versions on SD) and then flashed manually after download complete sent me to recovery automatically!
