This morning the LiquidNext application updated via android market and i could not download anything from OTA now If required me download from webpage, then why i need the OTA? Guest LUVLiquid Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 updated 1.6.1 Wifi WPA2 only working on the first try after any boot once the phone go to sleep, wifi will be disconnect then wake up the phone, wifi can't get any ip anymore unless you do a reboot. it's not the case if you don't use any encryption. like no WEP or WPA. I just made a clean install of LN 1.6 after flashng again the froyo bin and wiping everything (coming from LCR Froyo). Since 1.6.1 all works perfectly so far. I just have a small problem : when I reboot it seems like some config choices are not recorded : I need to tell which SMS app to use by default, which browser to use by defaut, and to enable again any new keyboard installed. Guest siggey Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 Love the rom except for one issue I only noticed today, when I tried to sync my phone with the AcerSync, it couldn't find my phone at all. So I tried to go into accounts and sync on my phone, and there wasn't an option for syncing to my pc, or the sim card. I have all the latest updates, did a full wipe of the system and a factory reset, using the latest official bin from Acer. I used to use the T&L Rom, but I find this one is better, except for that. is there a way to sync with my pc? I use it mainly for my calender, to keep track of appointments, so it would be nice to be able to sync it at all, just in case I loose the info (like putting a new rom on) on my phone I can get it back. Acer sync is not installed in this custom rom (and in many others). Simply reinstall it. If I remember well you can find acer stuff in first page of t&l rom. In the same place (about 10 meters from my router) I have 2 different result: 1) Wifi Manager see my Wifi and give me 3/4 bars but I can not connect by the network. 2) Android (the official) don't see my wifi: "out of reach" do you have some solutions? I did a fresh install of 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1_A22F_A. I've flashed 1.6 and 1.6.1 but now I have the wi-fi search issue.... lol :D ok I wiped all manually and now wifi works... after some hours wifi stopped working.... maybe wifi permission issue? following thepasto's solution it seems to work again.... :D thanks! I am not able to send an sms and i cannot find the number of the sms-servicecenter anywhere in the phone. I read the instruction manual and the sms settings are supposed to be in settings but since i installed liquidnext it is not there... Where is it? Guest array81 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 To avoid my wifi problem I have do this: Make all wipe;Install 1.5.0, 1.5.1, 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 then reboot my phone;Install 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 (without wipe) the reboot my phone;Now my wifi works but sometimes my phone reboot without a reason! With a clear installtion (all wipe then 1.6.0 and 1.6.1) I don't have reboot but the wifi doesn't work after the first reboot... Do you have some idea?
