Guest manstaf Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 About a week ago I decided to root my SF and install SS5 rom. Everything was working great until one day I had to restart the phone. Since then the phone simply won't boot. It gets stuck in the green android logo screen and won't go any further. It doesn't even get into clockwork. I used TPT method to install a new rom and it works but the result is still the same...it doesn't boot. The weird thing is that when I install a new rom through TPT and I connect my phone for the first time to the computer it installs the drivers and the phone boots properly and works fine until I restart it. Since obviously I can't flash my phone every time it shuts down, I am searching for a more permanent solution if there is one. I would appreciate your help guys...
Guest HACKDROID Posted June 7, 2011 Report Posted June 7, 2011 not sure on the tpt method or what that is but i reckon you need to access recovery mode and do a wipe ,that should sort it

You can try installing adb on a PC, then doing "adb shell" with the phone connected via USB, then getting a logcat, then posting that here.
