Guest Black knight101 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 Hi, New to this so please bear with me. Bought a ZTE Blade recently. Its a Gen 1 model. Debranded it and installed Swedish Spring 5. When installing apps yesterday got one cancel. Not enough space cited. I've since deleted a few but current stats are Total space 1.84GB Available space 727MB Internal 55MB Not sure whats sored internally nd whats on card. Is it just a matter of buying a bigger card and switching them. Will my phone still work? What dats is stored on the SD card and how could I transfer it if need be? Thanks

Thanks by default all apps are stored on internal storage, you can either repartition your phone to get more internal space (search the forum for how Or install apps like app2SD or Link2SD So that you can move some apps to your SD card too free up internal space
Guest hugobosslives Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Or install apps like app2SD or Link2SD So that you can move some apps to your SD card too free up internal space please note (orginal poster) things like Link2SD require you to partition your sdcard. if your not comfortable doing this, just use the native apps2sd in froyo. settings > applications > manage apps > sd card, then click on the app and move it to sdcard. tho i do recomend partitioning. i use link2sd myself and its awesome. i have about 250 apps.

Are there any benefits of using Link2SD over App2SD I've been using App2SD since I got the phone, but is there a benefit of having it partitioned?
