Wifi Sleep Policy never work in GB rom?

First, Hello to all the Liquid dev/user, new to this forum and new to my Liquid,

I'm still trying to work things out with it but I gotta say the Liquid comummity is huge! and every dev/user is very kind to keep making this machine workable and FAST after 1.5 years.

Here's my case.

I've tried quite alot of Froyo and GB ROM for the past few days just to test if this Sleep policy in Advance Wifi Settings acturally work when the screen is off but at the same time running those online streaming radio apps like Jango, XliaLive.

seems like only those 2.2 Froyo rom could accturally use the NEVER Sleep policy in Advance Wifi Settings. and it never work on GB Rom (when the screen goes off, it just keep buffing every 30 sec or so.)

Could any dev kind enough to look into this issue? or am I setiing somethoing wrong? (sure I have the settings saved after setting it to NEVER and even tried renable the Wifi or do a compelet Reboot)
