Guest 010967djg Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Hi, we have been looking for a leather effect case for our vegas for a while and read all forums and how the offical case is not that good? this week i found this on ebay they are based in the UK so i ordered 2 on the 7th June they arrived the morning of the 9th June, they look and fell quite good quality but time will tell but for under £15 delivered got to be worth a try? I bought the vega currys case in the last couple of days, so I'll just have to figure out a way to slip it back into the box and return it... ;) Can I just confirm that there's no way the vega will slip out of the case (as opposed to the flawed currys design)

I bought the vega currys case in the last couple of days, so I'll just have to figure out a way to slip it back into the box and return it... ;) Can I just confirm that there's no way the vega will slip out of the case (as opposed to the flawed currys design) Hi i can only give my opinion the case holds the vega very snuggly, the boottom of the case is all sealed by the magnatised cover and when thats open its still held in by pu leather with cut outs on either corner and dock, on the left side is also secured by a long piece of pu leather again with cut out for corners, the right side were all the connections are has 2 strips of pu leather were the power and headphone sockets are with holes cut in them and the top is sealed with a velcro fastner, i have just got my partners vega and waved it about and it is very safe and sturdy.

The Vega is held nice and secure and there is no way it can fall out. When closed it makes the Vega about the same size as an A4 diary so its not bulky at all. There is someone else now on Ebay selling a case that looks the same but is £12.99 and comes with a screen protector so this one may also be worth a look.

If you read the auction it is for a pre order stock coming on 19th June, i wouldn't be keen on that from ebay. Although the seller does have very good feedback so may be worth a try.

Although the seller does have very good feedback so may be worth a try. Well spotted, I hadn't clocked that. For the sake of £2.00 more though I would highly recommend the other one as he has stock. He has sold 81 in the last week so there should be plenty more comments about them soon.
