wifi tethering problem

I bought my Vega last Monday and now ahve the r8 ROM loaded.

Although ad-hoc wifi devices/routers can be seen and the WEP passwords entered/remembered the Vega will not connect.

I've tried this with WMWifiRouter on a standard HTC HD2 and also with a SE X10 Mini running Barnacle wifi.

The Vega does this same thing in both cases, whereas my Win 7 laptop connects first time.

Help/advice would very much appreciated.

If your using R8 rom its an optional extra when you bake the rom in the kitchen. Just needs ticking when before baking.

Good point!

I've paid my subs and downloaded the version with all the trimmings.

Now do I load the latest 1.10 vega image and then the new R8 tonight, spending the next few hours hidden away from the family, or do I wait until tomorrow morning and avoid my wife's wrath?
