Guest Airazz Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Is it just me ir is it the same for everyone? Youtube works fine, but videos from SD card don't. Video runs slower than normal and there's no sound. Is it just because I'm using bad player or is it more of a hardware problem (processor is too slow)? I just thought that it would be nice to watch a film or two while on a long flight/train ride.
Guest Roph Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 You need to be careful of what codecs / settings / bitrates you use for your videos. If the blade cannot decode the video in hardware (which can be very picky), then it will instead try in software. Which with a 600Mhz ARM11 CPU is a recipie for disaster. H.264 baseline in any resolution below 800x480, with AAC audio is a safe bet.
Guest happyandroid Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Not sure . but when i tried a few different players i found that 'seaman player' was the best. It has played everything perfectly.
Guest Airazz Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Are there any good video converters/resizers? Google shows a lot but I'm not sure if they are any good and if I should look for something specific.
