Guest rob945 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 So after I gave my Blade to my sister for a few weeks til she got a new phone, I decided to finally get CM re-installed on it and use it as my daily phone again. But now whenever I turn the phone on, it just goes through a bootloop. I left it for a few hours and still looping. Also if I go into recovery and try to flash a ROM it says 'Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported' Is there something wrong with the recovery? And if so is there a way to reinstall it with my computer without the phone going all the way into Android itself? Thanks in advance for any help ~Rob
Guest Pondlife Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Which version of cm7 did you try to install?

See this thread.. Edited June 11, 2011 by Tony Sidaway
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Seems like you need an updated version of CWM and even a Gen2 upgrade on your phone
Guest rob945 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Which version of cm7 did you try to install? 7.0.2 I'm not sure about changing to GEN2 yet, but thanks for pointing out that I can mount USB from recovery ;) I didn't know that!

Guest rob945 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Sorry for the triple post but now I see what I did wrong. I guess I should check on how to do this TPT thing O.o
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Sorry for the triple post but now I see what I did wrong. I guess I should check on how to do this TPT thing O.o I promise you its bang simple. I'm a huge supporter or TPT's, after finding out how easy they are! (very good for begginers) - though you clearly have some experience ;)

(very good for begginers) - though you clearly have some experience ;) The only real experience I have is with my old Moto Dext, which is now running CM7. Downloading the TPT zip as I type, so hopefully (if I can access fastboot) I'll be laughing!
Guest rob945 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Ok I can't access fastboot by holding the volume up key...looks like I'm bricked -.-
Guest rob945 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Ah, it seems my phone is one that needs Menu+Up keys to be pressed. Booting into CM7 now... Thanks for the help guys ;)
