when you got your SF at orange or anywhere else, you sign a contract for 2 years.

you know what it cost to break a contract, jail !!! worse, eavy fine.

they have your name, adress...I would be scare if I was you!

yes they can run a check a see how many phones have been hacked, root,...

they can check you IMEI and see how many calls you did with their prepaid phone or what card you are using and you will be in BIG TROUBLES!!!

yeah, dont be surprised if one day at 6am you see 2 cops in front of your doors asking u to come to their police office for some investigations.

(yeah, get rid of your stupid smile, I am serious!!!)

no way.

it is NOT illegal to unlock a phone in the UK...

(as opposed to e.g. Hungary)

Yeah right.

LOL you really fail. The operator can't check what card you are using, it's against the law in most of the countries. And who said in the contract, that you have to use that SIM card with that phone? Maybe you want a new SIM with the new contract, and gift the phone -.-"

Think they might have a few more urgent things to sort rather than going around 100,000's house's with unlocked phones !!

That reminds me, I still have £10 credit on my Orange SIM card. ;)

No contracts were signed.

In the uk a contract can be broke and the only penalty is to pay what has been agreed in the contract. It is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.

Seriously, have you ever heard of someone being sued/taken to court for unlocking/rooting their phone? Thought not...

apple took a few people to court over it, the us court ruled that once you buy the phone it becomes your property and under than you can do what you like with it

Moreover, how many people actually have a contract with Orange? The second I got the phone, I binned that useless network. You, sir, are high and drunk.

This is hilarious! I bought it on PAYG and signed no contract. I don't even remember giving them any of my details, not even my name.

i heared orange is checking all SF users.they are reviewing all contracts.

sure you can do whatever on the phone, but not on the contract. you can by exemple, paint your blade, or ad a sticker, or change programs, but ypu can NOT unsimlock it and use another sim card.

big trouble on the horizon!

Do us all a favour give it all a rest, this thread needs to go into a forum bin topic.

There is nothing illegal in network unlocking your phone, rooting your phone or installing custom rom/firmware.
