Network busy on 2G network

Hi,

I recently brought a ZTE Blade and flashed it to the CM 7.0.3 ROM, converting GEN1 to GEN2. The phone worked fine for a 3-4 days on both 2G and 3G networks. Since the past couple of days, I am facing a weird problem. I can't receive or make calls on my 2G network anymore, neither can I send or receive messages. I thought it was a network provider issue but then I got suspicious because when I change to any other sim, the problem persists. I have flashed the ROM to swedish spring after doing a factory reset and cleaning all the caches. But so far no luck.

Have searched the internet for similar issues, but couldn't find a relevant solution. Am hoping that I get some solution here.
