Guest Duncan.e Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) Hi guys, I've just joined the forum, being a complete noob and have a question..... I have seen the app 'Torque' and want to run it in my car, together with a satnav app (only rarely) and an mp3 player. I have never had an Android phone and my budget is tight, so I've been looking at the Orange San Francisco. I gather from the reviews that this phone is ok, once the Orange bloatware has been removed and I'm happy to root it and replace the ROM with a decent one. Back to the question, is the San Francisco capable of running all three apps at the same time (I know I can only view one at a time)? Thanks Duncan Edited June 12, 2011 by Duncan.e
Guest k0zmic Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 Not without some degree of lag I'm guessing.
Guest mikeeo19 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Not without some degree of lag I'm guessing. Yup, thats true. I've been using my Blade as my primary device for four months. With the stock ROM, multitasking was crappy and slow. Now when sailing with SS5 or CM7, things are changed. Of course there will be lag, but not so much, that it will put some limits to comfortable using. (if using 2-4 apps at the same time)
