Safe mode?

How do I enter safe mode on my Liquid E??????

The first-level support insists that it can't be done, but I refuse to believe that, because every other Android phone I've looked up has a safe mode and its likely something that's built into the OS, not each individual phone. Am I right? Would Acer have had to purposely modify code to disallow a safe mode?

I can't get this to work with the stock 2.2 ROM.

Which boot animation do you mean?

if you are on stock... first you will see a black screen with acer logo, then acer android splash screen... and finnally the boot animation wich is the logo of android in a black screen, on that last one is where you must press the menu softkey until it boots, it worked for me but i'm using cyanogenmod7 so i can't tell if it'll work for you

Still not getting this to work on the Stock ROM...

You just powered it on, then long-pressed the menu button when the android boot screen showed up, right?

If this is working in custom ROMs but not the stock one, what does that imply?

Well, that implies that there's no way to enter safe mode with stock ROMs :)

I tried also, but with no result,so I guess there's no Safe Mode in stock roms.

Yes, but given that there seems to be a way to get into safe mode using the Stock ROM on every other phone on the market (I've checked), and that you can do it with custom ROMs on this phone, and that it seems to be built into Android (not just something each developer has added in), doesn't that imply that Acer's devleopers purposely removed/suppressed it?
