Pulse damaged

OK, so the phone was connected to AC power and everything was neat.

Suddenly the house had a power fluctuation (really bad, 2 or 3 bulbs died) and when I noticed the Pulse,

the screen was filled with flickering white lines, it was switched off when charging.

So I disconnected the Pulse and after some time tried to start it, no response,

After some more attempts, it booted up but I noticed the battery drain was too fast (right now the phone goes from 100% to 36% in 6 hours when fully idle)

Also, the phone would not recognize connection to the PC but would only charge (that too was REALLY slow)

Both AC and usb connections are recognized as USB connections

So I took it to a repair shop (not T-mobile or Huawei, none of them are present in India)and the guy told me this, "The USB jack on the phone has 5 pins, the middle 3 are for USB connection and the other 2 are for charging and one the middle pins is not receiving voltage, and voltage to the pins is sent by the motherboard"

He removed the jack and soldered it again with no results. So now the possibilities are :-

1. Only the jack is damaged, which can be easily replaced

2. Only the motherboard is damaged, in which case it cannot be replaced and the phone is doomed unless I get another pulse(impossible since no T-mobile or Huawei in India) or atleast a diagram of the motherboard so that the repairman can see from the motherboard sends voltages to the pins and repair that specific area on my pulse.

3. Both the mobo and jack are damaged (see possibilties 1 and 2 both)

So could ANY of you XTREME HAX MODDERS/ENGINEERS/INTELLIGENT OUTER WORLD ALIENS help in this

Sorry for the long lecture guys, but I like giving details
