Power On Volume Up boot doesn't work on my ZTE Blade (Gen 1)

Hi there, I recently installed SS RL5 on my Gen 1 Blade but I'd like to update to Gen 2 CryogenMod because I read the battery life is better?

I installed the relevant files on my SD Card but when I hold the Volume + button then Power On it just boots up as normal. I've tried holding down the Menu key, Volume + and Power On at the same time too but the phone doesn't even boot up then.

You need to hold Menu and Vol +... keep them held and hold power for a couple of secs.. but then release power and KEEP holding Menu and Vol +.

If it's not working you probably dont have the right files on the SD Card.

What are 'the relevant files' you have copied on?

I see what you mean now, just added the CM7 folder onto my SD Card but when you mentioned how I applied them I wiped the SD Card and then just added the CM7 img folder and then the Menu, Volume + and Power method you described worked fine and everything looks to be working fine and it looks like it installed CM7, thanks again!
