Guest ColdEmbrace Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) I want to password protect my apps and folders from prying eyes, prefereably with something that will block, sms, images, contacts etc. I know i can just pin protect my phone, but basically if i show my friend a picture i dont want them too be able to scroll through all the others on my phone aswell. Guest k0zmic Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Plenty of apps here that can do the job: http://www.androidtapp.com/tag/password-pr...t-android-apps/
Guest Atomix86 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 App Protector Pro, it can lock any app and has never once failed me.
Guest ms20 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Smart app protector is the best I've tried and is only 90p
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) I use Privacy Guard, just tick which application you want to enable the lock code for and it does what it says, you can even set it to lock back at anytime (even if you press the lock screen button, if that makes sense) AND, it's free ;D Edited June 13, 2011 by ShahinTehShiz

Guest Mike Peterson Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 Hi, I am using MyPrivacyKeeper, this app secretly protect the mobile applications , messages, call logs.. The best part of this app is the profile system , you can set your profile according to your need as Within a user profile, the user can select the desired contacts to keep their call logs (dialed/received) hidden from the Android mobile phone local call history. Along with that, the text messages (sent/received) from those contacts remain hidden from the strangers to read. They can only be read through MyPrivacyKeeper app. Similarly, the user can also keep their sensitive mobile apps untouched by password-protecting them. So, to access those locked apps, the user would have to enter the correct password. I really enjoy using it Regards Mike Peterson
