Not Recieving SMS' until after i've sent one?

I've had this issue for a while, and i was wondering if anyone could help me out.

When i'm having a conversation with someone via SMS, and i send another message, sometimes as soon as that message has been sent i receive one from the other person. I don't know if this is an android issue or the phone, or if it's mere coincidence, but it's happened a few times and is really starting to annoy me ;)

Might be the network you or they are on, what rom are you using?

and i'm using the Swedish Spring RS5 or something similar ;)

I get this occasionally using Handcent on GingerFLB, quite annoying as you think the other person hasn't replied...but as you send a message asking them if they replied...you receive the reply. Odd.

yeah, the stock messaging app, it's rather annoying.

I have to reboot my phone for the problem to go away ¬_¬

Go SMS Pro is a great app and its free :)

Get it from the market or do a google and download from their website

In fact all of the Go software releases are highly recommended
