I converted from gen1 to gen2 and installed FLB gen2 lite. All went o\k and phone works o\k. I have been trying to install the blue gingerbread theme without success I have switched phone off and then turned back on with volume down button pressed but it will not go into clockwork recovery. It just boots up as normal. Is there anyway I can see if clockwork is still installed

There wouldn't be any harm in just installing clockwork over the top of your existing recovery.

So just head over to seb's Clockworkmod thread and install the latest Gen2 recovery.

Have tryed this using recovery manager . It keeps saying currently installed recovery Unrecognised

as sed above just reflash your recovery image. (the old one may have been corrupted)

the way i always do it is:

download the clockwork image.

then go into a terminal (i.e android terminal emulator (free in market))

type: (pressing enter after each line)

su

flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img

DONE!

this would flash a a recovery image on the root of the sdcard called "recovery.img"

so you can either rename in to "recovery.img" make sure its not "recovery.img.img" and do the above or you can leave it as it was for example:

su

flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.7-blade-gen2.img

where "recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.7-blade-gen2.img" is the name of the downloaded recovery on the root of sdcard (not in any folder)

hope that helps.

It virtually always says unrecognized recovery - but this isn't normally an issue - recovery should still work.
