Guest Irishrev Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Really messed up my Streak! Camera was not working so I tried all the usual things I read about. Then I thought StreakDroid 1.9 was the answer. I loaded up ClockworkMod to flash the StreakDroid 1.9 but failed to root phone first. Can get into ClockworkMod but all the options just lead to a blank screen. When I try to reboot after taking battery out all I get is Dell Logo. I can get into Fastboot. Tried a few different recovery.img's but nothing. I have an unlocked UK O2 Streak running 2.2. I think it is version 318. Update.pkg is on SD card. Any help is appreciated. Now I see I should not have tackled this! Is there just some way I can get rid of ClockworkMod and just do a factory reset?

Radimus Guide to Flashing Streak Now to be bried though, you will flash StreakMod recovery image instead of the Clockwork Mod.... Now, before you ever boot into your ROM, you want to have StreakDroid on the root of your SD (I imagine you already do because you said you had flashed it already and also the install.txt file with the options). BEFORE AND AFTER you flash StreakDroid do a FACTORY DELL RESET, that will make sure you are flashing onto a clean internal SD card, and the one after is to assure a nice clean boot environment. The StreakDroid ROM is already rooted by the way so you don't have to worry about install superuser or rooting or any of that (you just need to get a root file manager like Root Explorer or Super Manager, etc) Take notice that it may take your Streak up to 10 or 20 minutes to boot up, BUT it won't stay on the DELL logo that long, if you get as far as seeing "StreakDroid" on the screen everything should be ticking away just fine. (Personally I like the bios animation option).
Guest Irishrev Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Thank you for taking the time to help! At least I'm now back to square one! Camera is still not working. Maybe it is hardware related. SD card is fine. Tried reseating it like some suggested. Any ideas?

Perform a Dell factory reset (From dells recovery) to confirm ;) If so then I guess you will have to send it in
