A few weeks ago I managed to log in to SE repair/customer/warranty system. I forgot to make some screens because when i started downloading stuff the party was over and now i only got some flash program for windows 95 so its real crap. I remember to read stuff about the Arc that was sended for warranty because of heated battery's, SE did send some internal memo to just send phone back with no damage found and that it was exactly following some FCC(?) guidelines or whatever and customers did get there heated battery back with some crap message from SE lol. I found some other interesting stuff but it is all way to much for me to sort out. Because of the fact i'm a SE fanboy i'm not going to tell here to ya all how to get in or do nasty stuff. I'm not like that. What i like is to sniff arround and look for dev-roms or dev-info or whatever. I did this things a few times and i'm gonna give you some links that you may can use to get some stuff or maybe we are going to find 2.3 for our phones. Because update is nearly official now is the time to tell you all about this. See where you can get and if you find something it would be nice to send me an pm before publishing it all, there are some things that needs to be verified before sending out. Tried to install USP but a no go. Assuming this was the windows95 program you were talking about. Surprised no one has jumped all over this thread like they do everything else.

If you are talking about this USP USP_Setup-2.7.6.8 than i can tell i installed it on windows 7 with just changing compatibilty mode, i just put XP and everything intelled well, The only problem that i found that you have to register andhe the account must be approved. I didnt managed to register cause it wont let me put a password. I tried all teh combinations alfanumeric and so on but with no success

Admin/Admin USDoe1 / ? Guest / ? Try some things maybe we can work things out. If you have results pm me dont make it public otherwise it is almost directly gone.

You do not have a CSCA dongle anyway... what's the fuss about useless SEMC service stuff... there is nothing interesting at all... just front end basic actions... USP is a peace of crap... EMMA has a bit more options (in my language it means a whore if you call a woman in that name... ;), and actually that software acts like a one) Don't waste your time mates...

I don't knw where u are trying to log in but just fyi ... once I tried to make an account on emma. I entered all required fields and then they said that after approving your account you will get confirmation email.... but I never got one.... Sorry for noobing.. ;)
