3 simple questions

some newbie questions ;)

just got my first ZTE Blade ..

Mod version CyanogenMod 7.0.0 Blade

Kennel 2.6.32.9

Android 2.3.3

Build GRI40

and don't know how to ...

1. transfer a mp3 ring tone I have on my sd card to the phones ring tones

2. after receiving or making a call , I can't seem to turn off the call

3. after making a call , how can I keep the dial pad on screen , as some times a recorded voice says '' press '' 1 for , but the dial pad has disappeared

1.YOU cant do that i guess.why u should do it when u can choose a ring tone from sdcard to play when ur phone ring.

2.u turn off call on the screen (end call) option

3.the dial pad! u can see it on the screen just press to show up

4.first u should use ur phone more and then ask those questions.u are asking for a guide of the phone.

I can't see how to do that ?

I can't see any end call option ?

when I press the screen it only shows '' call in progress Icon '' only

your version is too old

this are bugs from old versions

I suggest you convert your phone to gen2 with wbaw method (pinned in custom roms section)

And install nightly 102

I just made this 2 days ago. It's very easy and painless.

as for point one you need to make a folder on your SD card called ringtones and save the file as filename.mp3 not 01 filename.mp3 if there is a number in front it doesn't seem too work

My file structure would be SD/media/audio/ringtones you can use the same too add notifications and alarms

might help you out with point 1.

There was a problem with the proximity sensor in CM 7.0.0 which wouldn't let you turn the screen back on after a call. One of the newer versions should fix it. You'll need to find out what generation your phone is before flashing it as CM7 is for gen 2 now. If you have a gen 1 & want to keep it that way you'll need to do the work around. Take a look at the guide.

@Siam: sorry but i didnt remember that CM 7.0.0 had the proximity sensor bug!i hope u get help :D

and i guess u used the phone now yep :D
