CIFS Common Internet File System

It does not mean I was busy with compilation all that time, just cracked at weekend this time.

Now I can play videos, music, photo slideshow via windows shares as if it is a SD card.

and to f3d0r for cifsmanager which made the loading of kernel modules very easy.

and to sshdroid from the market through which you can execute command to your running android from ssh client or putty. No need to write in android terminal emulator at all.

Actual difficulty was getting stock acer kernel to build as some files were missing which I had to copy from android msm branch.

I build the kernel image but still not replaced my stock kernel.

Every phone has its own configuration file in proc/config.gz which is actually the kernel config file.

not able to find related topics on discussion of liquid mini e310 ;) .

Current Configuration

android 2.2.2

baseband c4-1.002

kernel 2.6.32.9

build no 1.002.13_AAP_GEN2

rooted using superoneclick 1.9 (even this was a hard luck, actual usb drivers didnt worked at all on xp/7, tried installing the acer new OS for the device (msi exe) installed the usb drivers)

I tried to install malez recovery but no luck, a black screen with white text but the script keeps on waiting for device.

There are lot of methods like putting the rom bin file before putting custom rom but no bin or img file in those post at least near for mini

I found the latest kernel released for this device on acer website but not able to compile as there are some files changed as it suppose to be in post 'building stock kernel for liquid acer'

the lcr-team dot org has not been updated from a long time.

Acer download tool was not able to detect the device either.

I read all of the posts in last couple of days but like

malezRecovery image 0.6.1 + easy installer

Acer Liquid and Liquid E ALL ROMs bin extract collection

The ULTIMATE Liquid thread etc

but it seems they are outdated.

My main intent was to mount smb/cifs shares but tried different cifs.ko's no luck at all. So I started my adventure which is still in progress.

Pro Liquid members, please help me and other liquid mini users, perhaps I could help others too.

Liquid A1/e is not the same as mini. So, our threads are always up-to-date.

For recovery you can try to port Clockwork Mod or give your device to koush(Correct me if I've mentioned wrong name), who developing CWM. For custom boot you can try other guides, you should understand a principles not a device-specific.

I apologize for its English. I a matter of fact at all don't speak on English.

But for me too very strongly pressing question by the author of a subject.

Though, for me the question of possibility of acceleration CPU is more important.

Dear gurus liquid, help to understand with the assembly of a kernel source codes from Acer.

And hundreds users liquid mini will be immensely grateful to you.
