Guest t.A.T.u Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Ok i just got ROM Manager Premium v4.2.1.0 on my ZTE-Blade aka Orange SF and im going to install cyanogenmod 7 (android 2.3) into my G2 ZTE-Blade, but everytime i open ROM Manager and press on Install ClockworkMod Recovery i get this error "An error occurred when the program tried to run privileged commands!". Does anyone know how to fix this error and install ClockworkMod Recovery into my phone so i can be able to install Cyanogenmod 7, or is there any other ways to install ClockworkMod Recovery into my phone?
Guest shmizan Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 do you EVER read stickies in forums? it's all there.. how to install ROM, how to upgrade to Gen 2
Guest k0zmic Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Have you rooted your phone? Alternatively you can flash a recovery via Fastboot. You need to download the .img version of Clockworkmod, it's under a sticky I think. Instructions how to are here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Fastboot
Guest t.A.T.u Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 @shmizan I also made another topic before that i understand nothing of that tutorial that just confusing me too many downloads etc, also there was a file in there in that tutorial had to download which called "z4root 1.3.0" and the link for that file was dead @k0zmic No i havent rooted it, and sorry but my english isnt even good enough to understand everything they say in the wikepedia and i also suck at learning android and phone. ;) Sadly there isnt even any tutorial of that on youtube so it could be easier to understand
