i want repartition it, using this instructions http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...ded-gen2-blade/

when i flash wbaw’s Gen2 v5 firmware on 98%i see an error (yellow RESET on red background) and then red FAIL.

after reboot (normally, without any volumes keys) phone boot in FTM mode

and now it can boot only in FTM mode

when i try to flash official rom, it says flash complete but after reboot FTM again ;)

how can i fix this problem?

You could try putting your sdcard in a microsd reader, then download my package (latest version) from here: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...n2-tpt-upgrade/ & follow the instructions. Make sure that you check the sha1sum or nandroid.md5 files after you've extracted it to your sd card also make sure that you unmount it safely from your computer before putting it back in your phone.

If that gets your phone booting then you might find that you've wiped your imei, so you can't get a mobile signal, there are other topics here that explain how to restore your imei.

The Windows flashing process is very risky particularly when going back to gen1 or using one of my packages (which is effectively the same thing) from a stock gen2, that's why I made my TPT gen1 to gen2 update. I objected strongly to my layout being repacked for windows as it can cause these problems, but I can't stop other people from repacking it. It does annoy me a bit that my username is still attached to that repacked version as I get some of the blame when it breaks peoples phones, like I warned that it could do. It is recoverable, but it could take you a few hours, good luck.

@wbaw: that is not fair to say at all, and your instructions will not help in this scenario:

  • Since this phone was shipped with Froyo, windows was the only way to repartition it as leto wants. Your TPT's would be useless in this scenario.
  • A TPT will not fix leto's problem as it is a result of lost NV memory, not something that TPT will restore.
  • You did not object at any point to me posting your layouts on my guide. I put your name on it because I assumed you would appreciate being acknowledged, and I clearly indicated that it is modified. If you prefer, I am quite happy to remove your name.
  • Windows flashing is more risky than TPT, and that is one of the first things written in my guide. There is no pretence. However, it will be the only way to flash for users with stock Gen2, such as leto, until you or anyone else writes a guide for image.bin.

@leto:

Your problem is caused by a failure to restore NV memory. To fix the problem, you need the file "channel1.nvm" which was saved in the folder with the flasher. This file contains your IMEI and other data that will make your phone boot. Have a look at the second dot point in "After Flashing" in my guide. That's what you need to do. If you can restore than file, your phone should boot again, and in future you can use TPT to repartition.

If you can't get that to work for some reason, you can download a firmware package with the stock Sapo A5 firmware (in case there is any incompatibility with your phone). Flash that and then try to restore channel1.nvm again.

I did object a few times, anyway, I'd prefer it if my username was removed from those packages because I get pms when they go wrong, feel like I'm getting blamed & I've never even done a successful windows flash, so I can't help anyway.

You made no objection to me. I have renamed your layouts to "custom" on my guide and indicated that queries should not be directed to you.
