Guest jumper007 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 I have tested, and all I can say is that it works great on my i900. I have developed this for worldwide i900 users. This software is freeware ( it can be used for free but you are not allowed to edit and publish it, only if you mention that the developer of this software was Alien007 Software, ( which is my software "company" ). If you publish this file, you will be punished by the copyright laws. Cheers, Alien007 Software Team.Alien007_Software_Improved_Touch_i900.cab
Guest berqo Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) Anyone gave it a shot? (Lol only 30 mins passed I know =D) Edited June 17, 2011 by berqo
Guest azura-11 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 hello Thanks Alien007 Software Team. it's really nice & fast great job
Guest jumper007 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) Thanks, I'm glad that you appreciate my job. I will upload now a new setup file ( actually a .cab and a .reg, which will be in a winrar file). This file, as it name says, will make the windows mobile logo (when windows starts) dissapear. You can try with cab, if it doesnt work, try the reg one ;))Alien007_Software_Disable_Win.Mobile_6.1_start_logo.cabDisable_Win_Mobile_6_start_logo.rar Edited June 17, 2011 by jumper007
Guest jumper007 Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 So ? Do you enjoy your more finger-friendly omnia ? :)
Guest jumper007 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 You might be interested in installing the iTouch.cab, which I uploaded in this post.iTouch.cab
Guest Raheel Anjum Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 You might be interested in installing the iTouch.cab, which I uploaded in this post. What is the difference between this cab and the one you posted in first post?
Guest jumper007 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) What is the difference between this cab and the one you posted in first post? This cab is not changing the sensivity of the touch screen in the registry. As you maybe know, the i900 is resistive. It has a protection surface, 4-5 mm depth located between the LCD and the Touch Screen (Digitizer), which makes the touch so hard. The i900's Windows Mobile, has some links to the digitizer, which sent that information, and the registry are set to recognise the surface as 4-5 mm. This cab, can make the Windows Mobile read it with 1 mm less, so 3-4 mm. It worked for me. I hope it works for you too. ( I gave it the name iTouch, because I like my i900 (which I have converted into an (almost fully) iPhone, and all my apps start with iXXXXX). Edited June 19, 2011 by jumper007
Guest azura-11 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) Hi I tried both of them ( Alien007_Software_Disable_Win.Mobile_6.1_start_logo.cab & Disable_Win_Mobile_6_start_logo.rar - ) but did not work. Thanks anyway Edited June 19, 2011 by azura-11
Guest jumper007 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 Ok try this software. If this isn't working, I'm gonna shoot myself. (Install it, and just click on increase sensivity and calibrate screen. It's all I could do.)Alien007_Software_i900_Hack__touch_etc._.cab

I am currently using master Yonn Driod V2 ROM. It already has very good sensitivity. I think Yunn uses ftouch SL in his ROMs. Any how I have installed both of your cabs (1st post cab and itouch cab) in device memorey and reset my phone. I can't say that it has done any wonders, but yes it has made some improvement in touch response. But I am confused now that which program is controlling the sensitivity on my omnia, the one cooked by master Yonn or your program? Edited June 19, 2011 by Raheel Anjum

Guest awarner Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 I would say borrowing if this is indeed the true source and credit should be given to the original creator/modifier as all developers should. Jumper007 please claify if this is indeed correct and you have used the source mentioned above? If so please give credit. Thank you

Thanks master Yunn. I love your ROM and may by the effect of touch that was mentioned in my previous post was more psychological then any thing else? :)

I love your ROM and may by the effect of touch that was mentioned in my previous post was more psychological then any thing else? :) Is Yunn's ROM so finger-friendly ? If yes, how much... (comparing to another smartphone...)
Guest Raheel Anjum Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 Is Yunn's ROM so finger-friendly ? If yes, how much... (comparing to another smartphone...) How much? The best way to judge is to flash it and know it for your self? :) I can't compare it with other phones as I have only my Omnia to experiment? However, I have seen other phones with my friends like Samasung Glaxy, HTC, Nokia touch screen etc. But there is no point in comparing these new phone with our old omnia.

Is it like a capacitive one ? Can I simply use my FINGER and NOT MY NAIL ??
Guest Raheel Anjum Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 Is it like a capacitive one ? Can I simply use my FINGER and NOT MY NAIL ?? No it is not capacitive. It is resistive (hardware wise). Yes you can use it with your fingers and not with your nail.
