Guest thunderdrone Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Hi All, Not sure if this is a setting, incorrect setting or something else. Has anyone else had problems with the gyro sensor on the Advent Vega Corvus5 ROM when trying to play games that rely of sensing position to control the game. I have tried several of these (Radioball 3D, Speedx 3D, Riptide GP Demo), etc. In most cases the game starts off ok, but then goes crazy and throws my up against a wall or some other obstacle. It is very bad in Speedx 3D, annoying in Radioball 3D and varies in between for the rest. Now, I know I am getting on a bit, but I didn't think my reflexes had wained quite that much over the years :-(

Guest newbe5 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Corvus5 without SP1 works well for me on Riptide I think there has always been a problem with Speedx. Corvus5 comes with a screen orientation widget built in. Add this to your home screen, then when going to play games, turn this widget to OFF (so it is dim) and play your game. This will eliminate any stuttering or "Crazyness" issues. This is explained in the main post. newbe5
