Accelerometer Problem?

Hey guys,

Sorry to be a leech but I've been messing around with my Vega for about 3 days but no luck getting a fix.

I finally managed to get R8 running after some USB driver problems. (Windows auto update is annoying. Nuff said')

But any games using Accelerometer just seem to lean to the right or if I turn off advanced gaming G-Sensor, they learn to the left?

There was a fix for r6, but I haven't been able to get that working and posts suggests its too out dated.

If someone could point me in the direction of a fix thread that would be great.

Mike

It was fixed by newbe5 so you would be better in my opinion switching to one of his roms, corvus5 is the most reliable.

R8 was online when i joined in feb so miles behind the times now and the newer roms offer a lot more

Thanks for the quick reply. Does corvus5 have market? If so I think I need to do some switching!

Thanks for the reply, just got corvus5 and it's fixed all problems and is so much faster then the R8! Loving it!!

Is there anyway to remove all of the phone applications? They're really annoying :/

Hi

Please take this positively. My motive is only to help you. Would take me half an hour to explain why, so please accept that my intentions are good.

Search for "remove phone apps". You will find your answer in about 30 seconds, a lot quicker that posting and waiting ;)

And aas well as Simons wise advice be aware that removing all the phone apps will then put a no signal meter on your task bar, even more annoying in my eyes! Choose a diferent launcher like launcher pro you can use this to hide unwanted apps so they wont be their to bother you.

The phone applications are already removed from Corvus5, you need to install the 3G pack to add them back in. The launcher that comes with Corvus5 has a Phone icon which you can press, but you get no dialer etc, it's just remnants. Replace the launcher and you won't see this any more.

Sorry to keep asking, but my g-sensor keeps having spasms is this a software problem or does the advent just have a bad sensor?
