Hi all,

Ok, So 4 days ago i decided to Change My Rom i was running the MoDaCo Custom Froyo ROM (r12), But i decided to go to CM 7.0.2 Stable Gen1/Gen2, anyway that went fine no problem installing Etc......

But after about a day i decided i prefered Android 2.2 so decided to go back to MoDaCo Custom Froyo ROM (r12) i then downgraded to CM 7.0.0 stable Gen1 as i believe the CM 7.0.2 Stable Changes it to a Gen 2.

Again no problems changing Rom that all went fine.

But there is a problem with the android market i cant seem to download a thing, For example i went and downloaded angry birds but in a 5 seconds i get the following messages : Download starting > Download Paused > Download Unsuccessful.

I spent the day yesterday going through google trying to find a fix, Stuff iv done are below.

Factory Reset

Removed SD

Formated SD

Cleared Cache/data on market

Signed in and out of Talk

I have also tried another Rom im currently on Japanese Jellyfish but still getting the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Update to a newer nightly after a full wipe e.g. N104. The problem should be sorted then.

Im not on Nightly no more, I was on it but i diddn't really like it as Android 2.2 the modacco Rom (R12) Rom which i was originally on and had working fine.

So 3 days ago i decided to go back to it, which is what im getting this problem on.

Thanks

Oh, my bad. Just to clarify, you haven't changed your partitions at all and you're Gen 1?

No worrys :)

Yh my phone is orignally Gen 1 but i did go to Gen 2 when i installed nightly but then i went back to Gen 1 so that i could install a Android 2.2 Rom as i prefered that, So yes my phone is Gen 1.

I havn't done anything to the partitions i just left everything like that alone really and played it safe.

Think they've used the Gen1 CM 7.0 stable TPT (101.9mb) CM7-stable-Gen1.zip mirror md5:d5ffb46108702152f700d79e7ad24794 (2mb cache 140mb system 314mb data) from http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...n2-tpt-upgrade/ so will have the small cache problem on froyo.

If so use the cache2tmpfs_blade_froyo_signed.zip should sort it out

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah that file Pondlife linked to should fix it. It's because the Cache where the apk downloads go is too small.

Thanks guys, So what do i need to do with this ?

Do i just Install the zip file from the link you gave me : http://android.modaco.com/content-page/330...3-gen1/page/60/

Or do i install the Zip then reinstall the modacco Rom ?

Also which one do i need as there are two files here on that link :

partition_1_136_319.zip ( 3.58MB ) Number of downloads: 506

cache2tmpfs_blade_froyo_signed.zip ( 161.5K ) Number of downloads: 386

... use the cache2tmpfs_blade_froyo_signed.zip should sort it out

and just flash it in clockwork as if it was a new rom. Then reboot and market should work.
