Advent Vega Dropping off web page

Hi, I hope this is the correct way to use this forum.

I have an Advent Vega with Modaco installed.

Since the battery ran below 10% capacity, I am having trouble connecting to some web sites, e.g. Hotmail, ebay. The connection begins, with a yellow line at the top of the screen displaying progress. As soon as the yellow line has gone right accross the screen, the system drops out back to the home screen.

I have reset the system and installed a virus checker.

Are you able to point me in the direction of some advice please?

Try clearing the Browser Cache and if that doesn't work clear the Browser Data (I presume you are using the stock browser).

To do this, go Settings, Applications, Manage Applications and then pick All. Scroll down to Browser once the list has settled down and you will find the options to clear cache and data.

If that doesn't do it, and you have ClockworkMod installed, clear the Dalvik cache in the Advanced menu.

Thank you so much Dave. I had to clear both the cache and the data, but all is working fantastically now.
